Lightweight, accurate, and built to perform.
SAR springs are the lightest MTB coil springs available — even compared to most titanium options. Designed by Dave Garland and manufactured by Eibach in Germany, they’re made from silicone chrome vanadium steel with a black KTL coating for long-term durability.
Key Features
-
25 lb Rate Increments
Easier to dial in correct sag for better pedalling, grip, geometry, and consistent suspension performance. -
Dyno Tested for Accuracy
Each spring is tested and certified to within 1.5–3% of its stated rate. Each spring is packed with its own dyno graph. -
Ultra Lightweight
Compact design makes them lighter than most lightweight springs, while still maintaining required stroke. -
Improved Suspension Feel
Boosts traction, small-bump sensitivity, and damping response — with less weight.
Spring Sizing
-
Enduro springs: For shocks up to 65mm stroke
Total length: 105–115mm depending on rate (excluding POM spacers) -
DH springs: For shocks over 65mm stroke (fits most 230mm eye-to-eye enduro shocks)
POM Spacer System
Shorter spring length allows use of SAR's CNC-machined POM spacers to fit nearly any shock brand.
They also help reduce spring bind and improve small-bump compliance.
Spacers sold separately.
Fits shocks from:
-
Imperial: 200x57mm to 241x76mm
-
Metric: 210x55mm (185x55mm trunnion) to 250x75mm (225x75mm trunnion)
Compatible with: Fox, Rockshox, Marzocchi, Öhlins, Cane Creek, DVO, EXT, Suntour, PUSH and more.

EXT Shocks:
-
Use POM001 for 65mm Enduro springs
-
DH (140mm) springs don’t require spacers
Important Note – SDLXC C1 with Bearing Eyelets
POM002SD & POM003SD won’t fit 2023+ SDLXC C1 shocks with one-piece 8x30mm bearing eyelets (e.g. OEM shocks for Santa Cruz/Nukeproof).
For these, use a DH 65mm+ spring (no spacer needed).
