Base SettingsWhile we can provide recommendations on suspension setup, we can't supply any 'magic' settings that will work perfectly for you. What works for one rider won't necessarily (and probably won't) work perfectly for another. At the end of the day, a good setup will rely on fine-tuning which only you (the rider) can provide. For this reason, we believe it's important all riders learn about their suspension, and we strongly recommend checking the relevant manufacturers setup guides as any settings we recommend will be largely based on this.
Please see the following articles for more information on dialing in 'base settings' for your suspension. The information found in these articles applies to all standard forms of suspension regardless of brand/model.

Spring RatesPlease see the following link if you're unsure about what spring rate to run on your coil rear shock. The TF Tuned spring calculator is a great tool and will help ensure that you purchase the correct spring rate for your frame/setup. If you are unsure about any of the measurements this calculator requests, please refer to the 'Measuring Sag' and 'Base Settings' section on this page which will help you determine these measurements.
