DVO ProRate LS Progressive Springs - 55mm
1428132-350/400
The spring’s stroke should be equal to or longer than your shock’s stroke — never shorter, as you will risk 'coil bind' which refers to the spring bottoming out before your shock does.
For example: shocks with a 47.5–57mm stroke suit springs marked 55mm, 57mm or 2.25".
Avoid excessively long springs like 65mm for shorter shocks — they won’t improve performance and may not fit correctly.
The performance of your shock is directly related to the quality of your spring. DVO’s LS ProRate Progressive Springs - 55mm are precision-crafted from high-quality steel to deliver consistent performance and enhanced suspension characteristics. Designed to provide improved mid- and end-stroke support, these progressive springs are ideal for linear or regressive frame designs that may not work optimally with a traditional linear coil spring.
Thanks to an optimised construction that uses less material while maintaining strength, DVO has achieved a lighter final product, saving between 50–200g depending on the spring rate and stroke. This reduction in weight enhances suspension responsiveness and overall bike handling.
Features:
-
Progressive Rate Design: Offers increased mid- and end-stroke support, ideal for linear or regressive suspension designs.
-
Lightweight Construction: Achieves a weight saving of 50–200g depending on spring rate/stroke.
-
High-Quality Steel: Maintains the strength and durability expected from standard steel springs.
-
Wide Compatibility: DVO ProRate LS spring inner diameter is 36.5mm (1.43in), fitting DVO, Öhlins, Cane Creek, Manitou, Marzocchi, XFusion, ELKA/MRP, BOS, and DSP coil shocks. Fox coil shocks also fit these springs but may have a slightly looser fit on the spring collars.
Specifications:
-
Stroke: 55mm
-
Inner Diameter: 36.5mm (1.43in)
-
Weight: Varies by spring rate/stroke
Compatibility:
The DVO ProRate LS Progressive Springs - 55mm are compatible with a wide range of modern coil shocks. For precise fitment, refer to your shock manufacturer’s specifications regarding stroke length and spring compatibility.
Installation Notes:
Installation requires standard suspension tools and knowledge. Professional setup is recommended to ensure optimal performance and safety.
