The Charger 3.1 RC2 Damper Upgrade Kit is a simple yet effective way to bring your existing Charger 3.0 damper up to the latest Charger 3.1 spec. It swaps in a new high-flow piston and tuned shim stack for a broader, more refined compression response—giving you smoother low-speed feel off the top, plus firmer high-speed control when things get rowdy.

Whether you're running Pike, Lyrik, ZEB, Boxxer, or similar forks with the Charger 3 platform, this kit increases tuning range without replacing the entire damper. Includes the piston, IFP spring, shims and the head-valve tool needed to install it.

Features

  • Converts existing Charger 3.0 / 3.0 RC2 damper to the new Charger 3.1 RC2 spec

  • High-flow piston and revised shim stack for wider HSC and LSC range

  • Improved low-speed sensitivity and firmer high-speed support

  • Includes head-valve tool for installation

  • Compatible with forks using Charger 3 platform (Pike, Lyrik, ZEB, Boxxer)

Specifications

  • Model name: Charger 3.1 RC2 Piston Kit

  • Compatibility: Charger 3 dampers in Pike C1+ (2023+), Lyrik D1+ (2023+), ZEB A1+ (2021+), Boxxer D1+ (2024+)

  • Adjustment retained: High-speed compression, low-speed compression, low-speed rebound

  • Includes: piston assembly, internal floating piston spring, tuning shims, head-valve tool

  • Weight: Minimal change from Charger 3 (kit only; damper remains same overall weight)

  • MSRP: ~£70–85

Compatibility

Works with forks that originally ship with the Charger 3 or 3.0 RC2 damper. Confirm that your fork model and year match one of the supported platforms before ordering.

Installation Notes

Professional or capable home installation recommended—correct piston seating and shim alignment is critical. Kit swap can be done during a normal 200‑hour service. After install, fine-tune compression and rebound clicks to taste before riding.

Shipping Fees

Return express postage back to the customer is included free of charge for all full Factory and Hyperformance service types. It does not apply to minor repairs or basic services. Shipping charges for parts or accessories are calculated during checkout.

Postage to NSDynamics is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise arranged. Warranty items may qualify for return postage coverage only if they were originally supplied by NSDynamics and a clear fault is confirmed.

Shipping Insurance

All parcels sent from NSDynamics are covered under NSDynamics’ freight insurance. In the unlikely event that an item is lost or damaged during return transit, it will be replaced with a comparable item where possible. If a parcel arrives damaged, photo evidence must be supplied immediately. NSDynamics is not responsible for parcels where the receiver has chosen the 'Authority To Leave' option.

Packaging Requirements

Customers must ensure that their suspension is packaged securely and appropriately for shipping. If an item arrives in packaging that is damaged or unsuitable for safe return, NSDynamics may use a heavy-duty branded box and apply a $5 fee to the final invoice. This ensures your suspension is protected during return freight. Customers are encouraged to retain and reuse this box for future service bookings.

Transit Times and Delays

While NSDynamics uses express freight to minimise delivery delays, transit times cannot be guaranteed. NSDynamics is not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, public holidays, weather events, or other external disruptions. If a parcel has been delayed more than 5 business days beyond its expected delivery date, customers are welcome to contact NSDynamics for support.

Public Holidays

Unfortunately our workshop is closed on all nationwide and Queensland-specific public holidays, so we are not able to ship sales or service orders on these days. Any services or sales orders placed on public holidays will be processed and dispatched the following business day.

New Zealand and International Shipping

NSDynamics offers international shipping to New Zealand via Australia Post. Standard delivery times range from 5 to 10 business days. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring someone is available to receive the parcel.

Goods sent to New Zealand may be subject to import duties and GST. NSDynamics does not collect or cover any customs charges. It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of local import requirements and costs. Orders returned, delayed, or destroyed due to unpaid duties or taxes are not the responsibility of NSDynamics.

In the event that a product needs to be returned from New Zealand, including for warranty inspection, all return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. NSDynamics does not cover international return freight for items not originally purchased from NSDynamics.

International orders are processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), and prices do not include Australian GST. Currency conversions may vary depending on the payment platform used at checkout.
